Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams said in a statement that five carriages of the Empire Builder train derailed near the town of Joplin. There were 147 passengers and 13 crew members on board this train.  Montana:-  An Amtrak company train operating between Seattle and Chicago in the US derailed in north-central Montana on Saturday afternoon.
